On December 27th, I finished Euthymius Zigabenus’ Commentary on St. Paul’s Epistle to the Colossians. The next day, I began to translate his Commentary on St. Paul’s First Epistle to the Thessalonians. First Thessalonians is the shortest commentary that I have encountered so far, and seeing the percentage completion increase this dramatically with each day keeps me excited about the rapidity of my progress.

I wish all the readers of this blog a blessed new year. 2024 will see the first draft of the translation completed, God willing. This journey began in 2022 and now it sees its third consecutive calendar year. What a blessed adventure it has been so for.
