On May 6th, I finished Euthymius Zigabenus’ Commentary on St. Paul’s 2nd Epistle to Timothy. There are only three commentaries left: Titus (the third shortest), Philemon (the shortest), and Hebrews (the third longest).
I seem to have regained my motivation for this project. Excluding Pascha, which was on Sunday, the last time that I did not meet or exceed my daily quota was on March 20th, a decent time ago. Since then, my progress has been akin to what it was back when I was translating 2nd Corinthians. I plan to keep this pace up. A few months ago, my schedule was saying that I would be finished the whole first draft of the translation at the very end of November. But now, thanks to the increase in productivity, it’s saying somewhere around November 17th. If I keep this pace up, I might be able to push that down into October. We will see.
